GLOBALG.A.P.

GLOBALG.A.P. certification is an international standard for good agricultural practices that helps demonstrate safety and sustainability in agricultural production. Compliance with the GLOBALG.A.P. Control Points and Compliance Criteria (CPCC) strengthens market confidence and facilitates producers’ access to national and international supply chains.

To ensure a rigorous and harmonised system of procedures, this standard is subject to a control regime carried out by Certification Bodies (CBs) recognised by GLOBALG.A.P. and accredited by the competent accreditation authority — the Portuguese Accreditation Institute — in accordance with NP EN 17065:2014.

How to apply / GGN
To apply for GLOBALG.A.P., producers must follow these steps:

  • Request the application form by email at agricert@agricert.pt;
  • Once the completed application form has been submitted, Agricert will issue the quotation, calculated on the basis of the tariff approved by the Certification Body;
  • Confirm acceptance of the quotation with the Certification Body;
  • Sign a contract between the Certification Body and the operator.
