The National Sustainability Certification Standard for the Wine Sector is a scheme that allows sustainability practices to be certified across organisations operating in the Portuguese wine sector.

This framework was designed to reflect the diversity of the sector, covering organisations with different types of activity, different sizes, and different levels of progress in the implementation of sustainability practices. It aims to be simple, inclusive and credible, allowing organisations to demonstrate their commitment in both national and international markets, including through the products they place on the market.

How to apply

To apply for this standard, the operator must follow these steps:

1.Request the application form by email at agricert@agricert.pt;

2.Once the completed form has been submitted, Agricert will issue the quotation;

3.Confirm acceptance of the quotation with the Certification Body;

4.Sign a contract between Agricert and the operator.
